Big Hearted Indy Podcast - September 29: Andrew Green and Brittany Keno

Events

Join us on Big Hearted Indy on September 29th at noon!

Four years ago, a bold idea took root: what if philanthropy could break barriers instead of creating dependency? That idea sparked a powerful partnership between Edna Martin Christian Center and Shepherd Community Center. The goal? Help Eastside Indy neighbors move from just any job to better jobs and, eventually, into careers they can build a future on.
This all sparked from a strong friendship between Barato Britt (EMCC) and Jay Height (SCC), which we saw as a model of what’s possible when organizations work with each other, not against...and more importantly, with their neighbors, not for them. This wasn’t about handouts. It was about hand-ups, shoulder to shoulder.
On this special live episode, we’ll hear from Brittany Keno (EMCC) and Andrew Green (SCC) who've been the boots-on-the-ground leaders who have been guiding teams, partnering with neighbors, and creating lasting change.
Listen in on September 29th at noon live on Zoom with hosts Greg Enas, Don Palmer and Chris Spangle.
