One Mission, Two Friends, Thousands of Lives Changed....One by one by one!
Join us on Big Hearted Indy - December 15th at noon!
December's episode of Big-Hearted Indy features two men whose lives embody what it means to invest deeply—in people, in faith, and in community.
Dr. John Isch, a retired heart surgeon, co-founder of the National Christian Foundation Indiana, and national chair for both Walk Thru the Bible and Navigators, has spent four decades not just repairing hearts—but discipling them. Alongside his wife Mary, he has quietly shaped the spiritual lives of countless men, women, and couples across Indiana and beyond.
Joining him is his longtime friend, Jim Fountain—former Young Life regional director, entrepreneur who helped grow a major insurance agency, co-founder and board member of NCF Indiana, and past board chair of Wheeler Mission. Jim has made a career out of blending ministry and marketplace, always rooted in service and faith.
Together, John and Jim have co-led a Bible study of 50 men—every week—for 30 years. More than a study, it’s become a brotherhood, a spiritual greenhouse, and a living example of what happens when two friends commit their lives to discipling others—consistently, humbly, and with joy.
Grab a cup of coffee, settle in, and let’s learn from two big-hearted leaders whose lives prove that discipleship is long-term, relational, and incredibly powerful.
