On July 7, 2026, Citizen 7, in partnership with Indy Parks & Recreation, is launching something bold: Indy Street Sweep — a citywide day of service uniting 777 volunteers across Indianapolis to clean 21 parks following the July 4th holiday weekend. This is a big goal but together, we’ll remove litter, restore shared spaces, and demonstrate pride in our neighborhoods.
But this day is about more than trash bags and gloves. It’s about neighbors serving alongside neighbors, taking ownership of the places we call home, and proving that small acts of care can create lasting change across an entire city.
Grab your family, coworkers, church group, team and friends and be part of something bigger. In just two hours, you can help create cleaner parks, stronger communities, and a visible impact people will feel long after the day is over.
If you care about Indianapolis and want a simple, meaningful way to make a difference, this is your moment.
Learn more, see how the day works, sign up to volunteer, or step up to lead a cleanup site at IndyStreetSweep.com
Let’s show what’s possible when a city shows up for itself.
